If you didn’t know, Rjd2’s been behind a number of great beats that went to MC’s rather than his own instrumental albums. Dude, was even behind the beat that got jacked for Mad Men’s theme song.

Here we find him with the always dramatic Blueprint on the mic. Honestly, I’d say Blueprint’s the best vocalist that Rjd2’s paired up with. While there are times he over does it on the desperate, soul-bearing passion, it’s that intensity that let’s him match the tension of Rj’s productions better than anyone else.
